See Your Name in My New Book

I’m writing another book and need names for some of my new characters. I want to write real people just like you, or a loved one, into the narrative with my other problem solvers. Just think, you will be famous forever – in print and in eBook.

I am introducing new characters to advance the narrative. You can be a fellow compatriot by playing a special role in the storyline. I want you to join in their discussions on the Constitution, our culture, our country and how you will influence the future. I also want to dedicate the book to someone special. This is a perfect opportunity to honor your very own family or friends by memorializing them in print forever. Think of your mom and dad, or the kids, or a special hero in your family having a published book dedicated specifically to them.Learn How to Contributebringit

Am I Deplorable or Irredeemable?

Hillary Clinton Politics Voting

I hope you know what basket you’re in, because I’m not sure what basket I reside in. The Muckster is faced with a dilemma. I don’t know who I am. The politicians have left me clueless. Hopefully, this article will article will provide the answer.

Hillary Rodham Clinton (HRC), the Democrat nominee for President made the following statement at a New York fundraiser Friday night, September 9th, with liberal donors and Barbra Streisand in the audience, “half of Trump supporters fit into a basket of deplorables, while the other half are people who feel the government has let them down and need understanding and empathy.”

“You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? [Laughter/applause]. The. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people, now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric. Now some of those folks, they are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America.”

Ban Assault Bathtubs

Big Brother Regulation

I was getting ready to take a shower after my daily stint on the treadmill when I stopped to check my email and learn what’s new on the internet, and in social media. I came across an article that scared the bejesus outta me. The Atlantic reported that President Barak Hussein Obama frequently suggests to his staff that fear of terrorism is overblown, with Americans more likely to die from falls in tubs than from attacks by terrorists. Wow. I did not know that. Have you ever heard someone say, “You scared the bejesus outta me!” That was invented from King BeJeezus. Since King BeJeezus’ kinging skills were crap “You scared the bejesus outta me!” means “You scared the crap outta me.” Over time the spelling shifted from BeJeezus to Bejeezos to bejeeezis to lalalala to bejesus. So, are these devious bathtubs a greater threat than terrorists? Or did President Obama slip in the tub on this one? Not taking any chances, I quickly checked out our bathtub. Actually, I have never been in it inasmuch as I am a shower kind of guy. Nonetheless I don’t want to take any chances, so there is no way I am getting into that slippery thing if I can be assaulted by it.

Your Lyin’ Eyes (road trip!)

Elections Politics Voting

August is birthday month for my family and friends. Countless numbers of birthdays. Last weekend, the Lovely Lainey and I decided to drive to south Florida to celebrate the weekend with sister Joan who, guess what, had another birthday. I don’t ask the age of ladies because I don’t want them to lie to me.

Nonetheless, on the drive south, I was riding shotgun and fiddlin’ with the radio. A talk show host caught our attention while he was discussing politicians and the lies they tell. That sparked a lively discussion as Lainey and I both discussed our parents and how sacrosanct they regarded truth, honesty and integrity and their reputations in both their personal and business lives. They chose respect over dishonor. They chose respect over dishonor.

The Old Normal

Our parents were first generation born children of immigrants from Sicily, Italy (Lainey) and Baden-Wurttemburg (Schwarzwald /Black Forest Area), Germany, me. We discovered we have something in common as we surely do with many people of our age group. You know, us stupid, old farts who have no clue what a computer or the internet is; and cannot possibly understand what it is like to live in this futuristic society. After all, we inhabited the gloomy caves of the pre-technology Dark Ages of the 20th Century.

Recession? or Recovery?

Economics Politics

The absence of terror attacks has turned the politicians and the propagandists into once again discussing the economy. News of the 1.2 percent growth of the Gross National Product on Friday, August 5, 2016 fanned the flames a tiny bit. This will last until the candidates and the mainstream media find something else to wrap their shallow minds around.

Something like the last stupid statement the Donald made; or news about Hillary’s emails or some lie that she told that nobody cares about.

133886-004-BD750DF5Nevertheless, Americans should be concerned about the economy of their country and their individual prosperity. All roads eventually double back to the main highway: “Follow the Money.”

“Follow the Money.”

Whether we like it or not, money is king in a free-market, capitalistic society. If we are convinced money is the root of all evil; Americans are too materialistic; or that the greedy rich are stealing the labor and money off the backs of the poor and disadvantaged; it still comes down to having enough of the “green stuff” to buy the “stuff” we need and want.

Yes, we have no Solutions Today

Elections Politics Voting

I confess. The Muckster has fallen into the trap of candidate-watching on the tele. I am attempting to find a candidate, any candidate, that has a solution to anything. To date, I have failed miserably. Yes, we have no solutions today.

Yes, we have no solutions today.

When the Muckster was a youngster, there was a recording of a song called “Yes, we have no bananas today.”  There are loads of versions and bunches of accounts as to the origin of the great banana famine. Years ago, we had no bananas. Today we have no solutions.

We do, however, still have the same gobbledygook, nonsense, gibberish, drivel, rubbish, poppycock and claptrap repeated all day, every day, only now it is about false, fake, phony, fraudulent and pretend solutions, not bananas. The silliness of yesteryear’s bananas has transformed into the boloney of 2016. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtiCO_7__5Q

We hear the Donald tell us he will make better deals; build a wall; keep out Islamists, etc. These are not solutions. They are campaign slogans. They tell us nothing.

Quantitative Easing or Quantitative Fraud?

Economics Quantitative Easing

Bill-Muckler-Lovely-LaineyI was listening to the news on the radio on our drive back from Mass last Saturday evening. There was a news story about the economy, the National Debt (Capitalized because it is HUGE), interest rates, money supply and Quantitative Easing. Actually, not all of the above stuff was in the story, but the story alluded to all of this if one really paid attention and understood what is happening to our currency in America.

The Muckster was astonished by the misrepresentative, misleading, confusing, ambiguous, disingenuous, deceptive, false and untruthful commentary. So I lost it completely and went into a five-minute rant over a two-minute story. I don’t know if it was a story. I am labeling it a story because it was brilliant science-fiction without the facts.

So what happened next. You guessed it. Lovely Lainey was sitting in the shotgun seat without a shotgun. If she would have had one you would now be reading my obituary. Very calmly, she reminded me that we had just been told the Mass was over and we should “Go in Peace.” She then said, please, just write that down for your next article. Or something like that implying she would rather read about it than listen to another of my rants on how “We the People” are being lied to by the MSM (Main Stream Media) and our political knights in shining armor.

Why, Oh Why, Do I Hate Millennials?

Millenials Our Youth

In my previous article, “Why Oh Why, Do I Love Millennials” the Muckster proved he was falsely accused of hating Millennials. Now, I have to be “fair” and present the other side of the issue. Why do so many Americans hate Millennials? Why can’t they relate to millennials and understand the horrible plight of the youth of America. Well, here I go alienating readers again. If I do, feel free to let me know. We have a comments section at the end of each article. First, let’s start off with the name Generation Y.

First, let’s start off with the name Generation Y. They didn’t like that name so they changed it to Millennials, aka Gen Y. Is that part of the problem?

MillennialsMillennials know everything for sure that isn’t so.

One thing the Muckster and my old people friends don’t get is how the Millennials can come to the absolute conclusion that we don’t understand them. We do understand them. We have been out in the open in this world for a long time and have seen a lot . . . a lot more than most Millennials will ever see in a lifetime. We listened and learned when we were young. We get it.

I am a Most Unhappy Man

Banking Economics Federal Reserve

Green-01It’s not easy being a big bank these days. Consumers hate them, shareholders have beef with them and regulators can’t figure out what to do with them.  — Halah Touryalai , Forbes Staff

We hear it every day. The Democrats wage war on the Republicans by stating that the income gap is greater than ever before. They shout executives make millions while the employees make minimum wage. It’s not fair, they say.

Raise the minimum wage and life will be good. Really? Let’s examine the root cause of all of this blather and bullshit.

We have seen the rich get richer as banks consolidate through mergers and acquisitions. This has allowed them to become stronger institutions as they can better leverage their assets and equity. Follow the money.

How did all of this happen?

Woodrow Wilson, a Democrat, replaced William Taft as president in 1913, the same year of the 16th Amendment which created the Income Tax and the IRS. The Federal Reserve Bank was founded on December 23, 1913 thereby centralizing the power of U.S. banks into a privately owned entity that controlled interest rates, money supplies, credit creation, inflation, and indirectly employment.

Why, Oh Why, Do I Love Millennials?

Millenials Our Youth

The Muckster has been accused of hating millennials, not relating to millennials and not understanding the horrible plight of the youth of America. Well, I am going to bust that myth. If I don’t, feel free to let me know. We have a comments section at the end of each article.

First, let’s start off with the lame excuses. I have children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other young relatives that have been born since 1980. That has to count for something. And most of them have read 20/20: A Clear Vision or America. That counts for a lot, for me anyway. Now, I need to debunk that falsehood for the rest of the millennials. Millennials? How do they come with titles like that?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ax3gf0ZyFI0

The Muckster could not answer this question so he did what he always does: research. Start clicking on every site that Google has to offer. Here’s the result. I typically use so many articles and sites that I never give any one site credit. But this time I found some interesting stuff from The Wire.
