I wrote about my experiences as a newly commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps. The following is an excerpt from that article.

“I’ll never forget a sunny Saturday morning in June 1958 when a group of tanned, chiseled candidates stood to take the oath of an Officer in the United States Marine Corps. I still remember solemnly swearing with pride to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. That oath was taken with joy in a nation filled with an enthusiastic spirit, full of energy and excitement over the bountiful prospects that lie ahead.

This is the second article (Part 2) of the Great Transition that has so many Americans lathered up. I would report on all the reports, true and false, and the many accusations that have been made about the Trump Transition, but would anyone want to read it? Who Foots the Bill?

The media has accused Trump of choosing his own luxury accommodations as a transition base. They say he has helped direct the country’s attention to properties the Trump companies are eager to advertise, including Trump Tower in Manhattan and the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey. Wow. Wow. Are they saying no one ever heard of Trump before the election? Yes, Lainey, we got us some mainstream media bias here. They didn’t do that in 2008 and 2012. Many transition teams have started from scratch, opting for government-offered offices and telephones in downtown Washington. But Trump has used his own high-profile real estate, helping embolden an effort already aided by a private transition fund and the most public transition money ever offered to a president-elect. Really? How do they know that since the final expense numbers aren’t in yet? Trump spokesman Jason Miller told The Washington Post that “no Congress-appropriated transition funding will be going to any Trump businesses.” Of course, he would say that.

The Lovely Lainey and I were watching the parade of pundits on the TV news explain to us why certain government cabinet and agency appointments are brilliant or why they are the worst thing that could happen to America.

Of course, it is obvious the mainstream media is fully invested in making sure we are all made aware of the coming destruction of America by the new Trump Administration. One expert compared the next four years to the Bubonic Plague while others were more moderate using Pearl harbor and 911 as comparisons. Lainey got right down to the basic question, “who is paying for these Transition Team expenses? There is a lot of expensive travel involved. Surely, these political wannabees are doing this on their own dime!” “who is paying for these Transition Team expenses? There is a lot of expensive travel involved. I vaguely remembered an amendment to the basic bill governing Presidential Transition Team rules so I googled it. Just for you and the Lovely Lainey, of course.

Believe it or not, this past week never happened. It is the Friday after Thanksgiving Dinner. We are watching the many events and news that never happened. Wow, this stuff is difficult to keep up with. America, and most likely the entire planet, is in the same predicament. What is true? What is false? What is reality? What have we been told that has been totally made up? Fake is the new normal. What got this started? The lovely Lainey and I drove to south Florida to spend Thanksgiving with Lainey’s equally beautiful and intelligent sister Joan. Over martinis, the conversation arrived at “how do we know who to trust?” How do we know who is telling the truth? We were bought up to believe the media reported facts. Now this new media normal is supposed to be so wonderful. So now. So in. So fake.

Last week, I wrote about who and what we were voting for. The results are in and the majority of electoral votes are designated for the Republican Candidate, Donald J. Trump. America became the real winner.

I explained how this election pitted the Elites against Middle America. I identified the players. I am still surprised that so many of the citizenry were enthralled with the elitism and corruption of Hillary Clinton. Surprised that so many are taken in by politicians who have no interest in them or their welfare, only their money and votes. How did we fall into this quagmire?

“We’re with her” identified her followers with her big money cronies. How could so many people feel aligned with the maggot infested mainstream media, beltway insiders, Wall Street, college professors, bankers, arms dealers, trial lawyers, entertainment celebrities and some big money donors who crave influence such as George Soros, Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and the political establishment?

Well, here’s another nice mess you’ve gotten me into, the Lovely Lainey stated as she echoed the words of that great early American philosopher Oliver Hardy. We were walking out of the Cocoa, Florida Library last week after performing our sacred duty of voting in the next election.

We weren’t certain of our schedules at that time so we both decided to vote early. The officials were very polite and courteous and the process was very efficient. Election officials of both major political parties were present. We submitted our Florida Driver’s Licenses to establish who we were and the rest became history.

The Election is Rigged

Well, yes and no. Think of the election in terms of the NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament. We have 2 Division I major teams; 2 Division II mid-major teams; and about 40 Division III low level teams. We don’t even have a Final Four. We got 2 and the rest can’t attend the “Big Dance.” Not even in the debates! The rest can’t play in the big game on November 8th because they can’t match the rules, or put up the necessary funds that are required by the Division I teams. So yeah it is rigged so only the big boys get to play.

Yes, I am a practicing Roman Catholic. I am writing this article as a citizen concerned about the Catholic Church specifically, all Christian Churches in general and the Constitution of the United States of America.

I am currently writing a second 20/20 Vision book entitled 20/20: A Clear Vision for Our Future. In this book I explore “Restoring the Constitution.” I researched the First Amendment. It reads:

So what got my attention? A recently released email exchange that reveals Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and the Voices for Progress president Sandy Newman discussing an “opening for a Catholic spring” to move the religion away from “a Middle Ages dictatorship.”
