A year ago, I was invited to speak at the campus of Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. I was greeted and welcomed by Faith Doski, the President of the Republican Club, and several others. They were attired in dresses and business suits or classroom attire. The professionalism, grace and class exhibited by these young students was truly uplifting. Contrast my experience with that of the disgraceful exhibition at the University of California Berkeley campus when Milo Yiannopoulos, a British journalist, author, entrepreneur, public speaker, and senior editor for Breitbart News, was scheduled to speak. Protests that resembled organized riots ensued and the result was destruction of property and assaults on fellow students. Milo Yiannopoulos argues, “The left is terrified of free speech.” He was labeled a White supremacist and many more despicable names. Do I have this right? Calling people names is considered free speech? His speech was cancelled to the detriment of the students who missed an opportunity to hear a different point of view. Isn’t that what higher learning is all about? Being exposed to critical thinking? Not at Berkeley. The Muckster is going to make many new enemies with this article, but then again, I may make a few new friends and find some kindred souls who see this Oscar charade for what it really is. This annual phenomenon is watched by millions of people so therefore we should have a smattering of knowledge of how the process works.

They start planning for the next year shortly after the awards show. The “top secret” work happens in the week before the Awards. First, ballots are collected by the team. The 2017 voting closed Tuesday, February 21, at 5:00 p.m. PST. This is not an online poll with a quick computer-generated tally. This is an old-fashioned count the ballots by hand job. That means old-style paper ballots combined with online votes. The manual process is secure, and it helps guarantee the integrity of the process. No Russians hacking this baby!

As you can see I’ve softened my language as I am not referring to them as cockroaches and bedbugs. The cockroaches and bedbugs protested that I was not only racist but a “pestophile” by lumping them in with politicians. , I’ve been reflecting on my calling out politicians for what they are: self-serving, self-centered, egotistic, narcissistic, immoral, shady, corrupt vermin. The 20/20 Vision Principles
The United States has a population of approximately 320 million residents. An estimated 30 to 40 million foreign nationals reside in the country. Every one of these more than 320 million people play a role in the future of the United States. They play these roles in a constant and perpetual manner. Every one of these 320 million plus people must add value to their country for the country to continually succeed and be prosperous. When more of these 320 million plus people adds value to the country, the country becomes more successful.
